Hi! Do you knon  Echigo-Tsumari-art-triennale? It  is an international contemporary art festival held once every three years in the satoyama of Echigo-Tsumari. There are many works of art there. For example,  Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, MonET and Museum of Picture Books and Nuts, Kiyotsukyo Tunnel etc.  I recently visited Monet and Kiyotsukyo Tunnel with my friends!  The photo above left was taken at Monet. There were many works by not only Japanese but also artists from around the world here. The other photos were taken at the Kiyotsukyo Tunnel. There are three observation decks in the tunnel, each with a different and spectacular view! The observation deck at the far end of the tunnel was filled with water, which made for some fantastic photos! There are many other interesting artworks at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, so be sure to go and visit them!

Hi! This blog I would like to write about the autumn leaves I went to see the other day. Have you ever seen autumn leaves? There are many kinds of trees. For example, there are various plants such as ginkgo with yellow leaves, maple with red and orange leaves, konnra oak, zelkova, etc. I want Tkamachi city. It's my hometown. My hometown is in a basin, surrounded by mountains, with the Shinano River flowing nearby.     It was a little late in the season when I went, so the leaves were alresdy at the end of their fall foliage. But the weather was beautiful that day, and combination of the blue sky, the brightly colored leaves, and the river was just beautiful.

Hi!Have you seen any movies lately?I have recently become addicted to watching animated films. I have seen the movie "Suzume no Tojimari" which was released on Nov. 11. The director of this movie is Makoto Shinkai, who also directed the films "your name" and "Wethering with you". I think the charm of his work is the very beautiful images and the music that plays throughout the work. This time, his work was also very wonderful and interesting. It has just opened to the public, so why don't you go and see it?

Hi! How is everyone feeling in November now that it is getting colder?Sorry I was too busy to write a blog last week! This blog is to introduce you to a new menu item that started in November at my part-time job! As I said in my self-introduction, I work part-time at a ramen restaurant near the university called Magokoro Tei.That store is popular for its miso ramen. The newest addition to the menu is a tsukemen called Niigata Ginjo Miso Tsukemen. Unlike the previous tsukemen, this time it is made with Niigata miso. Niigata Ginjo Miso Tsukemen It is a little different from regular tsukemen, a tsukemen with a little sweetness. This menu is only available for a limited time until the end of January next year, so please come to Magokoro Tei and try it for yourself!
